I'm doing this because I'm bored waiting for the plane and Danielle has banned me from facebook until I see her tonight. Blarrrg.

I dunno what my list would have been as a kid though, it changed a lot. There definitely would have been overlaps with Queen though, they have always been my favourite band.

Bloody. Awesome. Episode. Holy cheese. I only just watched it, having been rushed off my feet this past week, but woooow. They took what originally sounded like a fairly boring enemy (AMG INVINCIBLE KNIGHTS) and made an incredible episode with an ending I really, really didn't see coming. Take that, reset button. The prollem with all this is that I cannae really explain why I liked it without spoiling quite a bit, but meh! I shall sit here and be gleeful, and that will be good.

In other recent news, I went to get a Christmas tree yesterday and they told me they didn't do deliveries anymore. So I carried the fooker home. I don't think I've grinned that hard for that long before; it was awesome. A random lanky old guy was all "Well that's just TREEMENDOUS!" and I was all "dem I love people." Puns rock my Christmas socks.

Going to visit Mum in hospital tonight. As my neighbour came around yesterday, accusatory and frankly rude to me because I'd only been keeping in touch with said mother through the phone since my visit on Saturday, I point-blank refuse to accept her offer to drive me there. There's no damn way I'm going to let her derive any satisfaction from wrongly presuming I'm going in because of what she said.

Roughly half an hour of Googling has utterly failed to find me any useful lists of buses between here and there, though. I found one that would have been perfect, going from the station to the hospital, but then realised the site was nearly two years old and utterly out of date.

So I'm going to walk. Googlemaps believes this will take me an hour and forty minutes and it's pissing it down outside at the moment, but fuck it. I've written out two pages worth of detailed directions so I won't get lost, and at 16.00 I'm heading out. Visiting time starts at 18.30, so that'll give me some leeway in case I'm slow/get a bit lost/need to stop for a breather when I get there. I will definitely need to tidy myself up, at any rate, because she cannae know about this. The last thing I want is another rant about pride and how to swallow it, as it's all a load of bollocks anyway.
